Current Status Comments:

The Minnesota State Building Code is a mandatory statewide code for all residential and commercial construction, including state-owned and operated buildings that are constructed, altered, and repaired. Specific counties and certain incorporated cities with a population of over 2,500 must adopt and enforce the state code.
