The state of West Virginia adopted the 2003 International Residential Code and the 2003 International Energy Conservation Code with amendments during the 2006 legislative session. The codes were adopted on March 11, 2006; they became effective May 15, 2006. West Virginia code is available online through a link available from the Secretary of State's Office at http://www.wvsos.com/csr/verify.asp?TitleSeries=87-04.
