• A master switch is required at the entry to control all permanently wired lighting fixtures and switched receptacles

Exception: bathroom

• Suites are required to have a master switch at the entry to each room or at the primary entry to the suite

Exterior Lighting Controls

All exterior lighting not intended for 24-hour operation must have automatic switching or photocell controls. Automatic time switches require a combination 7-day and seasonal daylight program schedule adjustment and a minimum 4-hour power backup.
