Energy Codes 2007 was held in Pittsburgh, PA, July 24-27, 2007. The year's event was held at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel - Pittsburgh's only riverfront hotel. Energy Codes 2007 participants included attendees representing energy-related organizations in 40 states and territories. 235 attendees including staff from state energy offices, utilities, energy code consultants, energy efficiency advocacy groups, industry/trade associations, builders, and model code organizations participated in Pittsburgh. In addition, pre- and post-trainings totaled over 240 attendees.

Energy Codes 2007 included pre- and post-training activities, full day of building tours, plus 2 days of sessions (including plenary and 3 technical tracks).

It provided an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of energy codes and standards-related topics, and face-to-face networking through formal and informal meetings allowing states and other stakeholders to share code-related challenges and successes. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) sponsored the event, which was hosted by the U.S. DOE National Energy Technology Laboratory.
