Advanced Lighting Design and the Energy Code

This 60-minute live webcast, sponsored by DOE, was held on November 17, 2005. The event addressed the lighting requirements of the energy code and provided detailed advice on lighting designs that meet and exceed the energy code requirements. Michael Lane of the Lighting Design Laboratory (co-author of the ASHRAE Advanced Energy Design Guide: Small Office Buildings) and Eric Richman of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory were the featured speakers for the session. A live, 30-minute Q&A session followed this training.

- In order to receive AIA LUs, AIA requires that participants take and pass a test (80%). BECP submits to AIA all of the required information for participants who pass the test.
