New Version of COMcheck Released!
The newest desktop version of COMcheck, version 3.4.0, was released March 2007. It incorporates requirements for the 2006 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). Upgrade today!

BECP Attended 2007 RESNET Conference BECP residential expert, Todd Taylor, delivered two presentations to the 2007 Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) Building Performance Conference in San Diego. The first, Duct Testing and the IECC - A Time That Has Come?, dealt with the prospect of an IECC code change proposal to require pressure testing of duct systems. In the second presentation, Todd and four panelists discussed the many definitions for the term, conditioned space, in various codes and design tools and the potential for consolidating them.

Assistance to States
New York
As part of an analysis being done for New York, BECP and staff and consultants from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) discussed including a multifamily building model; NYSERDA will provide necessary data to BECP.

Catch us at a Conference!
- BECP staff will attend the Lightfair International Tradeshow and Conference, May 8-10, 2007 in New York.
- BECP materials were distributed by Building America at the National Association of Home Builders Exposition held in February in Orlando, Florida.

Calendar of Events
Check it out! BECP provides a Calendar of Events that identifies buildings-related conferences and workshops as well as national energy code training and state energy code training conducted across the nation. Visitors to the site are encouraged to add a training or event.
