  • Every evening at dusk, up to 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats emerge from the South Congress Bridge for their nightly feeding. Visitors can stand on the bridge and watch the bats take flight, or enjoy a boat tour to watch the bats from the water.
  • Enjoy the hike-and-bike trails in downtown Austin
  • Rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard downtown at Lady Bird Lake
